As you may have lived this way, you cannot remember, when it was, and you cannot get rid off. You don’t know, as it is called matrix, such amazing similarity is there within your sight, not your observation. Like you see something without reading.

If you think of technology as a tool, Martin would not agree with you. Without a spectator, truth cannot be made. In essence, technology is revealing, and it is such a deep reflection of desire. Devoured into rhizomatic glitch, and humanity is addicted to it, but divided into fractals. Subjectivity is no where to be found, but if it is, the question lingers on and on, ‘What is water?’

Maybe There Is No Soul

From the formation of human being, he wonders how we ‘woke up’ from all the carbon atoms, water, and boom there was lighting , there is consciousness, and life? From the existence of life, and evolution and mutation makes us. One of a kind as we assume, we cannot just know, so we have the right to feel: the texture of our skin, the rocks and the road, the river brings the water we drink cool.

Meanwhile, the myths, stories, and others’ experience have been told wildly here and there about spirits. Our spirits exists, as we are able to read these text, think and ask, right? But very long before this enlightenment, it was even theorised before we had consciousness, there was some voice resonating in our brains to guide us. Fire, shelter and to cook. From the cages we walked out to sow. Are we planting or are we being planted by the environment? These happenings of life are either big and small, and taking place all at the same time... How do we find the sky full of stars poetic? How do we find the kisses of lovers romantic? How do we make people say truth?

None of these are yet to be laughed, by the people from the future, who possibly know the answers, while there is maybe no future, as the flow of time might be a circulation itself. Do the nerve system and the piece of cerebral cortex as if memory sticks forms our personalities and the rest of everything?

Maybe there is no soul.

Once the young lady had the dream, she had wanted to wear the fashion her mom owned. She had long been hearing about her mother’s story, as well as her grandma’s: when they walked through the old town city of Taiwan before it became the capital; how they had fell in love with their men in Taipei city… The lady did not understand before she was able to experience them all. Years later, when she picked them up, she could feel their soul planted deeply in herself… All those times, places, and memories came back from the old days, as if she lived their lives again.

There were six romantic stages for Caty while she crawls for her redemption from her past romance. In the stages she got to learn more about herself, her relationship, and her exes. The complex was still there to be resolved when she had the first fell into her flimsy self. She realized the fact that she was ostracized. Recalling the good old memories during the phases, she has got to scrutinize her own ideas and emotions. At the end, in order not to keep falling into her schizophrenia, she learned to not only forgive them and herself as well, and it turned out to be not contemptible...

Kanaval-Social Insinuation

Kanaval-Social Insinuation is a one night event which is informed by carnival from Haiti. Kanaval is the Haitian carnival that insinuates their history and politics through the joy of the event. It is about how people withstand under social pressure perform, how they use story to mock the subjects which they are concerned about and how the effect of fetish under consumerism influences people in artistic reaction. Additionally, the art works intend to implicitly reveal the modern social problem and remind audiences be aware of their original-self.
